Embed a molecule

Paste one line into any page that accepts HTML, such as a class website or a blog, and it draws a MoleculeFinder card where you paste it.

<script src="https://moleculefinder.com/embed.js" data-molecule="caffeine"></script>

To show another molecule, change caffeine to the name in the address of its page: moleculefinder.com/m/capsaicin becomes data-molecule="capsaicin". Paste the line once for each card.

What the card shows

The 2D structure, the name, the formula and weight, the molecule's one-line description, its LD50 or its hazard label with the source, and a link back to its page. These are the same values its page shows, and they update when the site does.

The molecule behind coffee's lift: it keeps you feeling alert by getting in the way of your brain's own sleepiness signal.

An LD50 is an animal study measurement, not a dose for a person.
