This policy explains what we collect when you use MoleculeFinder. In short: no ads, no accounts, no tracking cookies, and no sale or sharing of personal data.

Scope

This policy covers the MoleculeFinder website, operated by 137 Finder LLC, doing business as MoleculeFinder.

Information we collect

MoleculeFinder is a static site with no accounts and no login. We do not ask for or collect your name, email, or other personal identifiers in order to browse. We collect a minimal, privacy-friendly measure of aggregate usage (see Analytics) and standard server logs kept for security and reliability.

Analytics

We use cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate usage, such as which pages are viewed. It does not set tracking cookies and does not build advertising profiles about you.

How we use information

We use this limited information only to operate, secure, and improve the Service. We do not use it for advertising.

How we share information

We do not sell or share personal information. We rely on a small number of service providers, described by category: a cloud hosting and content-delivery provider, a managed database provider (used only to build the site and store aggregate events), and a cookieless analytics provider. Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

Cookies and tracking

The Service does not use tracking cookies, and our analytics are cookieless, so there is no cookie banner. See the Cookies page for details.

Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in operating and improving a free public-reference service using minimal, non-identifying data.

Your rights (CCPA/CPRA and others)

We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where applicable law gives you rights to access or delete personal data, you may contact us. Because we collect so little, we often will not hold data that identifies you.

Retention

We keep aggregate, non-identifying usage data only as long as it is useful for the purposes above.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the limited data we hold. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Children’s privacy

The Service is a general-audience reference and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

International visitors

The Service is operated from the United States. By using it, you understand that your information may be processed there.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date above.
