1. The Service

MoleculeFinder is a free, informational reference database of molecules, operated by 137 Finder LLC, doing business as MoleculeFinder (“we”, “us”, or “our”). It compiles public-domain and openly licensed chemical data and presents it for browsing and education. It is provided free of charge and for informational purposes only.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service if you can form a binding agreement with us and are not barred from doing so under applicable law. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

3. Acceptable use

Please use the Service reasonably. Do not scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract the data beyond ordinary personal browsing; do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service; and do not use it to break the law or infringe the rights of others. Automated or bulk access is not permitted without our written permission.

4. Intellectual property

The selection, arrangement, and presentation of the data (the compilation), the site design, and the MoleculeFinder name and logo are owned by 137 Finder LLC. The underlying data comes from public and openly licensed sources, including PubChem (public domain), Wikidata (CC0), and values computed with RDKit (BSD). Those sources keep their own terms; our compilation and original text are © 2026 137 Finder LLC.

5. Disclaimers

The Service is informational only and is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Values may be incomplete, out of date, or in error. Always verify against the primary source before relying on any value.

Computed and inferred values (for example decay curves, doses scaled to body weight, and similarity scores) are estimates, not measurements. Dose and toxicity information is presented as neutral science, never as instruction, and is not medical, health, or safety advice. Nothing on the Service is a recommendation to consume, handle, or dose any substance.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 137 Finder LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or reliance on the Service.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 137 Finder LLC from any claim arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

8. Third-party links

The Service may link to third-party sites and data sources. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices.

9. Changes

We may change the Service or these Terms at any time. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before bringing any claim, you agree to first try to resolve it informally by contacting us. Any dispute not resolved informally will be settled by binding arbitration seated in Massachusetts, and, to the extent permitted by law, you and we waive the right to a jury trial.
